Claims enumerated in this discussion:

  • M1. There was a change of rules which was voted on before the announced time, when the Hillary delegates were present but the Bernie delegates were not.
  • M2. In the process of that rule change, Lange called for a voice vote, heard the "Yea"s, and then passed the motion without asking for "Nay"s.
  • M3. the NV committee was co-chaired by Clinton and Sanders supporters
  • M4. the NV convention was equally staffed by Clinton and Sanders supporters
  • M5. some of the violence was incited by a member of the Sanders Campaign
  • M6. Clinton had no motive for messing with the convention, since she was already winning.
  • M7. Others may have had such a motive, however.
  • M8. Sanders supporters were abusive towards Barbara Boxer.
  • M9. The only prominent speaker, Barbara Boxer, is a Clinton proxy.
  • M10. Protests from the Sanders camp were ignored/overruled.
  • M11. (Vox) Nevada state officials disqualified 56 Sanders-supporting delegates who had done the paperwork wrong or hadn't registered as Democrats in time.
  • M12. (from memory of other sources) Some of those delegates had proof that they were in fact qualified, but they were not allowed the opportunity to present that proof.
  • M13. (Vox) There is no way these events could have affected the outcome of the main Democratic primary.
  • M14. (Vox) M13 is indisputable even by Bernie's supporters. ("Not even Sanders's most hardcore loyalists would claim that what happened on Saturday will sway the outcome of the Democratic primary.")
  • M15. There was violence at the convention.
  • M16. No credible reports of violence at the convention have yet been identified.
